The Friends of Eastside Park Present The LIFT OFF Picnic

The first week of Birmingham Made Me 2014 campaign will lift off with a day of exciting activities at Eastside Park. 

The Friends of Eastside Park will hold the LIFT OFF picnic from midday on Monday 5th May, offering live entertainment, a mix of summer sporting activities and a host of tasty food options. 

Take a Tai Chi masterclass, enjoy a game of croquet courtesy of the Digbeth Croquet Association or channel your inner musician and perform to crowds at during an Open Mic session – there’s something for everyone this Bank Holiday Monday at Eastside Park. ROUNDERS – all day

Tournament from 12.30PM – 2.30PM
General play from 3.30PM – if you’d like a game, come along and make your own team!

Located on the south field below the Woodman Pub

TAI-CHI – 2.30PM – 3.00PM  and  3.30PM – 4.00PM

Located outside the Parkside building

CROQUET – all day

Enjoy a game of croquet courtesy of the Digbeth Croquet Association
Located outside Millennium Point next to the Science Garden

CYCLING – all day

Urban Cycling can help you learn to ride, give advice on your bike and cycling in the city

MUSIC

3PM – 5PM Informal music on the steps “Open mic!”

5PM – 7PM Acoustic sets on the steps
