Jobsfair Events

DWPs National Employer Service Team have been working closely with the Administrator and local Jobcentres to support the affected workforce. Although DWP are gathering information on the skills of the workforce, a range of staff have been affected, from various job roles – including production, maintenance, administration, sales and quality control.

 

A number of Jobsfair Events have now been organised to help those employees receive the very best advice and support during these difficult times.   The details of those events are as follows:

 

Date:    Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November

Time:   10am – 4pm (both days)

Venue: Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, Sandwell Council, Oldbury, B69 3DE.

 

We are asking for your support? Q: Could your organisation please consider helping in any of the following ways:

 

  • Would you be willing to attend the Jobsfair and share information about vacancies in the West Midlands area
  • Maybe you could share information and talk to individuals about digital recruitment methods and modern jobsearch – “how does your organisation recruit”
  • Trade Associations would you please share this message with your employer members
