Vicky Pryce, Chief Economist, Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR), and Visiting Professor, Birmingham City University, and Mark Beatson, Chief Economist, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and Visiting Professor, London Guildhall School of Business and Law, London Metropolitan University, will outline research they have conducted over the past year examining business level productivity, in particular manufacturing, and assessing routes to improvement for business and the country as a whole.
